About Us

Welcome to the website of Dwelling Place Glasgow

(f.k.a. Glasgow Vineyard Church)

At Dwelling Place Glasgow, we firmly believe that God is alive today and wants to have a relationship with us. By carefully studying the bible, praying together, and listening to God’s teachings our relationship with God is strengthened. Through being in step with God, we see people being healed, prayers being answered and God’s kingdom increasing.

As a Church we wish to show how much God loves people, by actively growing our relationships within Glasgow and the church. We have a range of ministries, from compassion projects for those who are less fortunate to family fun days, which allow us to develop deep and meaningful relationships. No matter what stage of your life you are at, we would love to connect with you.

Meet the Team

Jamie and his wife Linda are the senior pastors at Dwelling Place Glasgow.  They have been the Senior Pastors of the church since 2000, when they originally planted the church as Glasgow Westend Vineyard.

Their main role within Dwelling Place Glasgow is to make sure that the Church places "Love God, Love People" at the centre of all we do. They are passionate about seeing God's Kingdom come through the preaching of God's word and in the power of the Holy Spirit. They are keen to see that every follower of Jesus is encouraged to fully develop their God given potential and calling and that the ministry gifts of Ephesians 4 are fully worked out within the body. Linda leads the Prophecy Team and is pioneering the development of the prophetic ministry within the church.

Outside The Dwelling Place they are on the core team of Kingdom Legacy, a cross denominational and relational movement of church leaders wanting to see more of God's Kingdom come within their local church contexts.

If you would like to contact Jamie then please e-mail him at jamie.watters@dwellingplaceglasgow.org.

Peter Fowler Compassion Pastor

Peter is our Compassion Pastor and heads up Compassion Ministries, which includes our Storehouse Food Bank. Peter has been at Glasgow Vineyard, with his wife Grace, since 2002 and also looks after the web and tech side of things. When not working in Glasgow Vineyard, Peter 'enjoys' landscape gardening (but not the everyday weeding) and working on his model railway, which he has to share with his cat.
